Steve Leonard is a co-founder of Divergent Options, a former senior military strategist, and the creative force behind Doctrine Man!! Captain Robert N. Hein is a co-founder of Divergent Options and a career Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. He previously commanded the USS Gettysburg (CG-64) and the USS Nitze (DDG-94). He has written extensively on naval issues, and his articles have appeared in such publications as Naval Institute Proceedings, The Baltimore Sun, The Miami Herald, War on the Rocks, Naval Engineers Journal, Real Clear Defense, National Interest, CIMSEC, Divergent Options, and Florida Sportsman.
